3. Letter Putty
___ Imagine you can bend, straighten, squish, or stretch (but not fold, cut, break, or pull apart) capital letters any way you want. You can make some letters look like each other by doing that: O, for example, can be squished into a D -- but can’t be turned into to an A or a Q. L can be bent into an S but not cut and pasted into an H. What letters could you turn into a C?

Any letter with no closed loops that you can draw without taking your pencil off the page will work. Which letters that includes depends on exactly how you form your letters (for example, a J with a line across the top can't be bent into a C, but if you make your Js without the line at the top, it can. |
